What happens when you see a group of musicians who haven’t played together make music? What goes on when you see an artist sit in with a band they are not a member of? How do they know what to do? The art of making music as a group is hard to define, that’s part of what turns sound into magic. However, there are processes, communications and tools musicians use to communicate quickly and easily. In this workshop join guitarist Scott Pemberton and some well known jammers as they share some of the ways they navigate the infinitely-changing waters known as a jam session. And then of course…they will jam.
